I knew I wanted to be a makeup artist the moment I stepped on a set for Vogue Italia to assist a well-known makeup artist. I had always loved flipping through beauty and fashion magazines, but after that day I knew I could make a career out of something that I truly loved to do.

 

I starting working in the industry, first in the corporate side of the business at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and then out behind the counter. I realized how much I loved showing women how to simplify their makeup routines, while giving them product recommendations to fit their needs. I completed a six month master program at the Make Up For Ever Academy in NYC, and worked for two years at a MAC Cosmetics free standing store in Westchester, NY. 

 

Over the years of freelancing and working with all types of different faces, my skills in beauty have grown exponentially. Along with an awareness of good customer service, I realized I wanted to apply my skills to my own bridal and event makeup business. With every client who sits in my chair, I provide great service, a professional and positive demeanor, and of course, beautiful makeups. I communicate effectively with my clients, investigating their makeup style and allowing them to be part of the process every step of the way. I take pleasure in seeing my clients faces light up as they take that first look in the mirror.
